Disassembly [12/2012 - ]: Procedure

Refer to REMOVAL [12/2012 - ]

1. Using needle-nose pliers, remove the 2 shoe return tension springs.

1. Using needle-nose pliers, remove the shoe return tension spring.

1. Remove the shoe adjusting screw set.

1. Press the shoe hold-down spring to remove the shoe hold-down spring pin, shoe hold-down spring and No. 1 parking brake shoe.

1. Slide the shoe to remove the shoe hold-down spring, shoe hold-down spring pin and No. 2 parking brake shoe.

2. Disconnect the parking brake cable from the parking brake shoe lever.
