- INSPECT SHIFT LEVER ASSEMBLY (w/o Smart Key System)
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Voltage
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 1 (ACC) - Body ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V Ignition switch ACC 11 to 14 V Ignition switch off Below 1 V 8 (STP) - Body ground Brake pedal depressed 11 to 14 V Brake pedal released Below 1 V 5 (KLS+) - Body ground Ignition switch ACC and shift lever in P Below 1 V Ignition switch ACC and shift lever except in P 11 to 14 V 4 (IG) - Body - ground Ignition switch ON 11 to 14 V Ignition switch off Below 1 V *a Component with harness connected
(Floor Shift Lever Assembly)HINT:
Do not disconnect the shift lever assembly connector.
If the result is not as specified, replace the shift lever assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 7 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 Ω HINT:
Do not disconnect the shift lever assembly connector.
If the result is not as specified, replace the shift lever assembly.

- INSPECT TRANSMISSION CONTROL SWITCH
- Disconnect the connector from the shift lever assembly.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
