Brake Warning Light does not Come ON [04/2018 - 08/2021]: Procedure

1. Check if CAN communication system DTCs are output.

   Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [04/2018 -]

1. Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC/EPB / Active Test.

   Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC/EPB > Active Test

2. Check the operating condition of the brake system warning light (red indicator) when operating it using the Techstream.

REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [04/2018 - 08/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - 08/2021]

1. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.
2. Perform the Active Test of the combination meter assembly using the Techstream.

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Active Test 

   Tester Display
   Brake Warning

3. Check the combination meter assembly.

   OK

   The brake system warning light (red indicator) turns on or off in accordance with Techstream operation.

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG

REPLACE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [04/2018 - 08/2020]  , or refer to  REMOVAL [08/2020 - 08/2021]
