Removal [11/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the ventilation hose.

    2. Disconnect the purge VSV.

    3. Disconnect the mass air flow meter connector.

    4. Disconnect the wire harness clamp.
    5. Release the 2 clamps.
    6. Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner cap sub-assembly.

  3. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the throttle body with motor connector and the 2 water by-pass hoses.

    2. Remove the 3 bolts.

    3. Remove the throttle body with motor assembly.
    4. Remove the gasket from the intake manifold.
