Removal [11/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  2. REMOVE NO. 2 EGR PIPE 
    1. Disconnect the wire harness clamp.

    2. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the No. 2 water by-pass hose.
    3. Remove the 2 bolts and 2 nuts.
    4. Remove the No. 2 EGR pipe and 2 gaskets.
  3. REMOVE EGR VALVE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and wire harness clamp.

    2. Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket.

    3. Disengage the clamp and disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose.

    4. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and EGR valve bracket.
    5. Disconnect the No. 1 water by-pass hose.

    6. Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 stud bolts.

    7. Remove the 2 bolts, EGR valve assembly and gasket.
