Removal [11/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY 

    (Refer to REMOVAL [11/2015 - ] )

  2. REMOVE INNER COWL TOP TO COWL BRACE 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4

  3. REMOVE FRONT AIR SHUTTER SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 5

  4. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 VENTILATOR SEAL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  5. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  6. DRAIN COOLANT (for Engine) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  7. REMOVE NO. 2 EGR PIPE 

    See step  2

  8. REMOVE EGR COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the 2 connectors and wire harness clamp.

    2. Remove the bolt and wire harness clamp bracket.

    3. Disconnect the clamp, No. 4 water by-pass hose and No. 5 water by-pass hose.

    4. Remove the 2 bolts, nut and EGR valve bracket.

    5. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and EGR valve with cooler assembly.

    6. Remove the gasket.
    7. Disconnect the No. 1 water by-pass hose.

    8. Remove the 2 bolts, EGR valve assembly and gasket.
    9. Using an E8 "TORX" socket wrench, remove the 2 stud bolts.
