Removal [02/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

    Refer to PRECAUTION [02/2014 - 11/2016] , or refer to PRECAUTION [11/2016 - ]

  2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. REMOVE NO. 3 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [02/2014 - 11/2016] , or refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2016 - ]

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM RELAY BLOCK ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disengage the claw and disconnect the No. 2 engine room relay block assembly as shown in the illustration.

  6. REMOVE NO. 1 RELAY BLOCK COVER 
    1. Disengage the claw (A) as shown in the illustration.

    2. Disengage the 2 claws (B) and remove the No. 1 relay block cover.
    3. Disengage the 4 claws and remove the No. 1 relay block cover.

  7. REMOVE SEMICONDUCTOR PWR INTEGRATION ECU 
    1. Disengage the 2 claws.

    2. Pull up the semiconductor pwr integration ECU as shown in the illustration.
      NOTE:

      When pulling the semiconductor pwr integration ECU, take care not to damage it.

    3. Disconnect the 5 connectors and remove the semiconductor pwr integration ECU.
      NOTE:

      When pulling the semiconductor pwr integration ECU, take care not to damage it.
