- CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
- Using the Techstream, check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.
Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [12/2013 - 11/2016]

- Using the Techstream, check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.
- PERFORM ACTIVE TEST USING TECHSTREAM
- Disconnect the magnetic clutch assembly connector.
- Install SST to the connector on the magnetic clutch relay side.
- SST: 09843-18040
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Start the engine.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Air Conditioner / Active Test.
Body Electrical > Air Conditioner > Active Test

- Connect the magnetic clutch assembly connector.
- Disconnect the C12 cooler compressor assembly connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 3 (MG+) - Body ground 20°C (68°F) 3.8 to 4.2 Ω - When connector terminal 3 (MG+) is connected to a positive (+) battery terminal, check that the following occurs: 1) the magnetic clutch operating sound can be heard, and 2) the magnetic clutch hub and rotor lock.

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
