Removal [02/2014 - ]: Procedure

HINT: 

When removing the front fender wheel opening moulding sub-assembly, heat the vehicle body and front fender wheel opening moulding sub-assembly using a heat light.

1. Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.

2. Remove the 2 screws.
3. Remove the clip.
4. w/o Mudguard:
   1. Remove the 2 screws.

   2. Remove the 6 clips.
5. w/ Mudguard:
   1. Remove the 5 clips.

6. Pull back the edge of the front fender liner and disengage the 4 claws by pushing the area indicated by the arrow in the illustration with a finger.

   NOTE:

   • Do not apply excessive force when pulling back the front fender liner.
   • To avoid damaging the claws, do not forcibly pull the front fender wheel opening moulding sub-assembly.
7. Disengage the 8 clips and separate the double-sided tape to remove the front fender wheel opening moulding sub-assembly with front fender moulding sub-assembly.

8. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front fender moulding sub-assembly.

1. Remove the front door upper outside moulding pad.
