Removal [02/2014 - ]: Procedure

- REMOVE REAR DOOR LOWER OUTSIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY
HINT:
When removing the rear door lower outside moulding sub-assembly, heat the vehicle body and rear door lower outside moulding sub-assembly using a heat light.
HEATING TEMPERATUREItem Temperature Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) Rear Door Lower Outside Moulding Sub-assembly 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F) NOTE:Do not heat the vehicle body or rear door lower outside moulding sub-assembly excessively.
- Remove the screw.
- Remove the 2 clips.
- Disengage the clip and turn back the rear door lower outside moulding sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
- Apply protective tape around the rear door lower outside moulding sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
Protective Tape - Disengage the 5 clips and separate the double-sided tape to remove the rear door lower outside moulding sub-assembly.

- Remove the screw.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY

- Disengage the 4 clips and turn back the rear door outside moulding sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
- Remove the hole plug.
- Remove the nut.
- Apply protective tape around the rear door outside moulding sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
Protective Tape - Disengage the 8 clips and separate the double-sided tape to remove the rear door outside moulding sub-assembly.
*a Double-sided Tape - Remove the 8 clips.
- Remove the gasket.
- Disengage the 4 clips and turn back the rear door outside moulding sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.
