Removal [12/2013 - ]: Procedure

REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1
REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9

REMOVE FRONT FLOOR COVER LH

Remove the clip (A), 2 screws and 4 bolts from the front floor cover LH.

Disconnect the 2 clips (B) to remove the front floor cover LH.

REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Front Catalyst)

Remove the 4 bolts, 2 compression springs and front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Front Catalyst) from the exhaust manifold and center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).

Remove the 2 gaskets from the exhaust manifold and front exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Front Catalyst).

REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY

Remove the bolt, nut and manifold stay from the exhaust manifold and stiffening crankcase assembly.

REMOVE NO. 2 MANIFOLD STAY

Remove the bolt, nut and No. 2 manifold stay from the exhaust manifold and stiffening crankcase assembly.

REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

Remove the 4 bolts and No. 1 exhaust manifold heat insulator from the exhaust manifold.

REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD

Remove the 5 nuts and exhaust manifold from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

Remove the exhaust manifold to head gasket from the cylinder head sub-assembly.

REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

Remove the 2 bolts and No. 2 exhaust manifold heat insulator from the exhaust manifold.

REMOVE NO. 3 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR

Remove the 3 bolts and No. 3 exhaust manifold heat insulator from the exhaust manifold.
