DTC U0232: Lost Communication with Blind Spot Monitor Slave Module [12/2013 - 11/2016]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the L23 blind spot monitor sensor RH connector.
2. Disconnect the M31 blind spot monitor sensor LH connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   L23-1 (CA2P) - M31-1 (CA2P)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   L23-6 (CA2N) - M31-6 (CA2N)	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN LINE OR CONNECTOR 

Result:  1

OK

1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   L23-5 (BRB) - Body ground	Engine switch on (IG)	11 to 14 V

   Result

   Proceed to

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   L23-10 (BRGD) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

   Result

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Replace the blind spot monitor sensor RH with a new or known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - 11/2016]

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [12/2013 - 11/2016]

   Body Electrical > Blind Spot Monitor Master > Clear DTCs 

2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

   Body Electrical > Blind Spot Monitor Master > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.
