- INITIALIZE SLIDING ROOF ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY)
- Check that the sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) can be initialized.

REPLACE SLIDING ROOF ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY):
Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - ] .
- Clear the DTCs.
- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SLIDING ROOF ECU (SLIDING ROOF DRIVE GEAR SUB-ASSEMBLY) - SLIDING ROOF SWITCH (MAP LIGHT ASSEMBLY) AND BODY GROUND)
- Disconnect the S1 sliding roof switch (map light assembly) connector.
- Disconnect the S5 sliding roof ECU (sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly) connector.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
