Replacement [12/2013 - ]: Procedure
- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
- SEPARATE FRONT FENDER LINER LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11
- REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 13
- DRAIN AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID
- Remove the refill plug and gasket from the automatic transaxle assembly.
- Using a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench, remove the overflow plug and gasket from the automatic transaxle oil pan sub-assembly.
- Using a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench, remove the No. 1 transmission oil filler tube from the automatic transaxle oil pan sub-assembly.
*1 No. 1 Transmission Oil Filler Tube *a Hexagon Socket Wrench *b Overflow Plug Hole - Drain the automatic transaxle fluid from the automatic transaxle assembly.
- Using a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench, install the No. 1 transmission oil filler tube to the automatic transaxle oil pan sub-assembly.
*1 No. 1 Transmission Oil Filler Tube *a Hexagon Socket Wrench *b Overflow Plug Hole Torque: 0.8 N*m (8 kgf*cm, 7 in.*lbf)
- Using a 6 mm hexagon socket wrench, temporarily install the gasket and overflow plug to the automatic transaxle oil pan sub-assembly.
HINT:
Reuse the old gasket as the overflow plug will be removed again to adjust the fluid level.
- Temporarily install the gasket and refill plug to the automatic transaxle assembly.

Reuse the old gasket as the refill plug will be removed again to adjust the fluid level.
- Remove the refill plug and gasket from the automatic transaxle assembly.
- REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [12/2013 - ]
- REMOVE DRIVE SHAFT BEARING BRACKET
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 73 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 73
- REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT OIL SEAL LH
- REMOVE FRONT DRIVE SHAFT OIL SEAL RH
- INSTALL FRONT DRIVE SHAFT OIL SEAL LH
- Using SST and a hammer, install a new front drive shaft oil seal LH to the automatic transaxle assembly.
- SST: 09316-10010
- SST: 09950-70010
- 09951-07100
Standard Depth
-0.5 to 0.5 mm (-0.0197 to 0.0197 in.)
NOTE:- Make sure that the front drive shaft oil seal LH is installed in the correct direction.
- Do not damage the front drive shaft oil seal LH lip.
- Coat the lip of the front drive shaft oil seal LH with MP grease.
- Using SST and a hammer, install a new front drive shaft oil seal LH to the automatic transaxle assembly.
- INSTALL FRONT DRIVE SHAFT OIL SEAL RH
- Using SST and a hammer, install a new front drive shaft oil seal RH to the automatic transaxle assembly.
- SST: 09316-60011
- 09316-00011
Standard Depth
-0.5 to 0.5 mm (-0.0197 to 0.0197 in.)
NOTE:- Make sure that the front drive shaft oil seal RH is installed in the correct direction.
- Do not damage the front drive shaft oil seal RH lip.
- SST: 09316-60011
- Coat the lip of the front drive shaft oil seal RH with MP grease.
- Using SST and a hammer, install a new front drive shaft oil seal RH to the automatic transaxle assembly.
- INSTALL DRIVE SHAFT BEARING BRACKET
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
- INSTALL FRONT DRIVE SHAFT ASSEMBLY

- ADD AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE FLUID
Refer to ADJUSTMENT [12/2013 - 11/2016] , or refer to ADJUSTMENT [11/2016 - ]
- INSTALL FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 75 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 75
- INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER LH
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 77 , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 77
- INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
