DTC C1A46: Yaw Rate Sensor [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR DTC (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Codes.
- Check for DTCs.
Chassis > ABS/VSC/TRAC > Trouble Codes
Result
Result Proceed to Electronically controlled brake system DTCs are not output A Electronically controlled brake system DTCs are output B - Turn the power switch off.
Result: 2

GO TO DTC CHART (ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED BRAKE SYSTEM). Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [02/2014 - 11/2016]

- REPLACE SKID CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY
- Replace the skid control ECU assembly with a new one.
Refer to REMOVAL [02/2014 - ]
NEXT
- Replace the skid control ECU assembly with a new one.
- CHECK FOR DTC (PRE-COLLISION 2)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Clear the DTCs.
- Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.
HINT:
If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.
- Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Trouble Codes.
- Check for DTCs.
Body Electrical > Pre-Collision 2 > Trouble Codes
NOTE:When replacing the driving support ECU assembly, always replace it with a new one. If a driving support ECU assembly which was installed to another vehicle is used, the information stored in the driving support ECU assembly will not match the information from the vehicle. As a result, a DTC may be stored.
