Pre-collision System Cancel Switch Circuit [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision 2 / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

   Body Electrical > Pre-Collision 2 > Data List

   When the pre-collision system cancel switch assembly is operated, the display changes as shown above.

1. Remove the pre-collision system cancel switch assembly.

   Refer to REMOVAL [02/2014 - 11/2016]

2. Inspect the pre-collision system cancel switch assembly.

   Refer to INSPECTION [02/2014 - 11/2016]

   Result

REPLACE PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM CANCEL SWITCH ASSEMBLY. Refer to  COMPONENTS [02/2014 - 11/2016]

1. Disconnect the F84 driving support ECU assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the F27 pre-collision system cancel switch assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F84-5 (PBSW) - F27-1	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F84-5 (PBSW) or F27-1 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

4. Reconnect the F27 pre-collision system cancel switch assembly connector.
5. Reconnect the F84 driving support ECU assembly connector.

   Result

   Proceed to

   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Disconnect the F27 pre-collision system cancel switch assembly connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
