HINT:
- If DTC P3147-240 is output, clear the DTCs, perform the following procedure, and check that the same DTC is not output after the repair.
- After DTC P3147-240 has been output, drive the vehicle at approximately 15 km/h (9 mph) or more for approximately 10 seconds or more while maintaining a stable vehicle speed.
(If generator (MG1) does not rotate in this condition, DTC P3147-240 will be stored.)
- After DTC P3147-240 has been output, drive the vehicle at approximately 15 km/h (9 mph) or more for approximately 10 seconds or more while maintaining a stable vehicle speed.
- If DTC P3147-242 is output, clear the DTCs, perform the following procedure, and check that the same DTC is not output after the repair.
- When the vehicle is stopped, turn the power switch on (READY) and gradually depress the accelerator pedal so that the engine starts.
- Drive the vehicle at approximately 20 km/h (12 mph) or more for approximately 10 seconds or more while maintaining the vehicle speed.
