DTC P2532-772: Ignition Switch Run Position Circuit High [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (+B SHORT) 
    1. Disconnect the A61 and F16 power management control ECU connector.

      *a Rear view of wire harness connector
      (to Power Management Control ECU)
    2. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A61-1 (IG2) - Body ground Power switch off 1 V or less
      F16-2 (IG1D) - Body ground Power switch off 1 V or less
    3. Reconnect the A61 and F16 power management control ECU connector.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result:  1

    OK 

    REPLACE POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU. Refer to  COMPONENTS [02/2014 - 11/2016] 

    Result:  2

    NG 

    See step  2

  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER MANAGEMENT CONTROL ECU - SEMICONDUCTOR PWR INTEGRATION ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the A61 and F16 power management control ECU connector.
    2. Remove the semiconductor pwr integration ECU from the No. 1 engine room relay block and No. 1 junction block assembly.

      *1 No. 1 Engine Room Relay Block and No. 1 Junction Block Assembly
      *2 Semiconductor Pwr Integration ECU
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Rear view of wire harness connector
      (to Power Management Control ECU)

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      A61-1 (IG2) - Body ground Power switch off 1 V or less
      F16-2 (IG1D) - Body ground Power switch off 1 V or less
    4. Install the semiconductor pwr integration ECU.
    5. Reconnect the A61 and F16 power management control ECU connector.

      Result

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result:  1

    OK 

    REPLACE SEMICONDUCTOR PWR INTEGRATION ECU. Refer to  COMPONENTS [02/2014 - ] 

    Result:  2

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
