DTC P0A90-251: Drive Motor "A" Performance [11/2015 - 11/2016]: Procedure
- CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HYBRID CONTROL)
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG).
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Check for DTCs.

- P0A90-251 may be stored due to a malfunction which causes the DTCs in the preceding table to be stored. In this case, first troubleshoot the output DTCs in the preceding table. Then, perform a reproduction test to check that no DTCs are output.
- Turn the power switch off.

- SIMULATION TEST
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (READY).
- Clear the DTCs.
- Drive the vehicle at a speed of 40 km/h (25 mph) for approximately 1 minute.WARNING:
When performing the confirmation driving pattern, obey all speed limits and traffic laws.
- Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
- Check for DTCs.
Powertrain > Hybrid Control > Trouble Codes
Result
Proceed to P0A90-251 is output or no DTCs are output. Except P0A90-251 is output. - Turn the power switch off.
Result: 2
Except P0A90-251 is output.
GO TO DTC CHART (HYBRID CONTROL SYSTEM). Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [11/2015 - 11/2016]
Result: 1
P0A90-251 is output or no DTCs are output.
