Confirmation Driving Pattern

  1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
  2. Turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
  3. Clear the DTCs (even if no DTCs are stored, perform the clear DTC procedure).
  4. Turn the power switch off and wait for 30 seconds or more.
  5. Turn the power switch on (IG) and turn the Techstream on.
  6. Turn the power switch on (READY).
  7. With the shift lever in D, depress both the accelerator pedal and brake pedal at the same time to raise the SOC to a sufficient level.
  8. Move the shift lever to P, check that the engine is stopped and move the shift lever to N.
  9. Set the A/C for maximum cooling.
  10. Leave the vehicle for a few minutes.
  11. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
  12. Read the current DTCs.

    HINT: 

    • If a current DTC is output, the system is malfunctioning.
    • If current DTCs are not output, perform the following steps to check for permanent DTCs.
  13. Check that the permanent DTCs are cleared.
  14. If the permanent DTCs are not cleared, perform the universal trip, and then check for permanent DTCs again.
