Installation [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure
- INSTALL COOLER CONDENSER ASSEMBLY
- Temporarily install the cooler condenser assembly to the radiator assembly with the 4 bolts.
- Tighten the 2 bolts (A).
Torque: 9.0 N*m (92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf)
- Install the cooler condenser assembly with the 2 bolts (B).
Torque: 9.0 N*m (92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*lbf)
HINT:
If a new cooler condenser assembly is installed, add compressor oil to the condenser as follows.
Capacity
Add 40 cc (1.35 fl. oz)
Compressor Oil
ND-OIL 11 or equivalent
- Temporarily install the cooler condenser assembly to the radiator assembly with the 4 bolts.
- INSTALL CONDENSER ASSEMBLY WITH RADIATOR ASSEMBLY
- Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
Do not damage the condenser or radiator when installing the cooler condenser assembly with radiator assembly.
- Engage the 4 claws to install the cooler condenser assembly with radiator assembly.
- Remove the vinyl tape from the air conditioner tube and accessory assembly and the connecting part of the cooler condenser assembly.
- Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the air conditioner tube and accessory assembly.
Compressor Oil
ND-OIL 11 or equivalent
- Install the O-ring to the air conditioner tube and accessory assembly.
- Install the air conditioner tube and accessory assembly to the cooler condenser assembly with the bolt.
Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
- Remove the vinyl tape from the discharge hose sub-assembly and the connecting part of the cooler condenser assembly.
- Sufficiently apply compressor oil to a new O-ring and the fitting surface of the discharge hose sub-assembly.
Compressor Oil
ND-OIL 11 or equivalent
- Install the O-ring to the discharge hose sub-assembly.
- Install the discharge hose sub-assembly to the cooler condenser assembly with the bolt.
Torque: 5.4 N*m (55 kgf*cm, 48 in.*lbf)
- Using the reference point, connect the outlet hybrid radiator hose and inlet hybrid radiator hose with the marking (green) and engage the clip within the area shown in the illustration.
*1 Outlet Hybrid Radiator Hose *2 Inlet Hybrid Radiator Hose *a Reference Point *b Marking (Green) *c Clip Installation Angle (15°) *d Clip Installation Angle (45°) NOTE:Do not apply excessive force to the outlet hybrid radiator hose and inlet hybrid radiator hose.
- Engage the 2 guides as shown in the illustration.
- INSTALL UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Install the upper radiator support sub-assembly with the 5 bolts.
Torque: 5.5 N*m (56 kgf*cm, 49 in.*lbf)
- Engage the clamp.
- Connect the 3 connectors.
- Install the upper radiator support sub-assembly with the 5 bolts.
- INSTALL NO. 3 INVERTER BRACKET

- INSTALL HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

- INSTALL MILLIMETER WAVE RADAR SENSOR ASSEMBLY (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System)

- INSTALL INLET NO. 2 AIR CLEANER

- INSTALL INTAKE AIR RESONATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY

- ADD COOLANT (for Inverter)

- INSPECT FOR COOLANT LEAK (for Inverter)

- CHARGE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM WITH REFRIGERANT

- WARM UP COMPRESSOR

- INSPECT FOR REFRIGERANT LEAK

- INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
