How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 

    Result: 

    Go to next step 

  2. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.

      Standard Voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, replace or recharge the auxiliary battery before proceeding to the next step.

    Result: 

    NEXT 

    Go to next step 

  3. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Using the Techstream, check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

      HINT: 

      Refer to CAN Bus Check in CAN Communication System.

      Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2016 - ] .

      OK

      CAN communication system is functioning normally.

      Proceed to
      OK
      NG

    Result: 

    NG 

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. 

    Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2016 - ] .

    Result: 

    OK 

    Go to next step 

  4. CHECK FOR DTCs* (LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM) 

    HINT: 

    Refer to DTC Check / Clear.

    Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2016 - ] .

    1. Check for DTCs and note any codes that are output.

      Chassis > LKA/LDA > Trouble Codes 

    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Chassis > LKA/LDA > Clear DTCs 

    3. Recheck for DTCs. Try to reproduce the DTCs by duplicating the conditions indicated by the DTCs.

      Chassis > LKA/LDA > Trouble Codes 

      Result Proceed to
      DTCs are not output A
      DTCs are output B

    Result: 

    GO TO DTC CHART. 

    Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [11/2016 - ] .

    Result: 

    Go to next step 

  5. PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE 

    HINT: 

    Refer to Problem Symptoms Table.

    Refer to PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [11/2016 - ] .

    Result Proceed to
    Fault is not listed in Problem Symptoms Table A
    Fault is listed in Problem Symptoms Table B

    Result:

  6. OVERALL ANALYSIS AND TROUBLESHOOTING* 
    1. Terminals of ECU

      Refer to TERMINALS OF ECU [11/2016 - ] .

    2. Data List / Active Test

      Refer to DATA LIST / ACTIVE TEST [11/2016 - ] .

    Result: 

    NEXT 

    Go to next step 

  7. ADJUST, REPAIR OR REPLACE 
    NOTE:

    When the forward recognition camera is replaced with a new one, forward recognition camera adjustment must be performed.

    Refer to ADJUSTMENT (SEQUENTIAL RECOGNITION) [11/2016 - ] .

    Result: 

    NEXT

  8. CONFIRMATION TEST
