Removal [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

  1. PRECAUTION 
    NOTE:

    After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work.

  2. REMOVE DECK BOARD ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 1

  3. REMOVE NO. 3 DECK BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL 
    NOTE:

    When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected.

    Refer to INITIALIZATION [11/2016 - ]

  5. REMOVE V-BANK COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 22

  6. REMOVE INJECTOR DRIVER 
    1. Push the lock and move the lock lever of each injector driver connector (with lock) as shown in the illustration and disconnect the 3 injector driver connectors (with lock).

      *a Lock Lever
      *b Lock
      *c Injector Driver Connector (with Lock)
    2. Disconnect the injector driver connector.
    3. Remove the 4 bolts and injector driver from the intake manifold and cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.
      NOTE:

      Be careful not to drop or strike the injector driver.
