Installation [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

- INSTALL TEMPERATURE SWITCH
- Using a 19 mm union nut wrench, install a new temperature switch to the water pipe joint.
Specified tightening torque
Torque: 7.4 N*m (75 kgf*cm, 65 in.*lbf)
NOTE:Do not apply any excessive force to the cooler pipe when installing the temperature switch.
HINT:
- Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.
Refer to PRECAUTION [11/2016 - ]
- When using a 19 mm union nut wrench (fulcrum length of 30 mm (1.18 in.)) + torque wrench (fulcrum length of 162 mm (6.38 in.)): 6.0 N*m (61 kgf*cm, 53 in.*lbf)
*a Torque Wrench Fulcrum Length - Calculate the torque wrench reading when changing the fulcrum length of the torque wrench.
- Connect the temperature switch connector.
- Using a 19 mm union nut wrench, install a new temperature switch to the water pipe joint.
- ADD ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine)
