Removal [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

- DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (for Engine)
See step 1
- REMOVE TAIL EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
- REMOVE HEATER COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7
- REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY (TWC: Rear Catalyst)
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8
- REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE GAS CONTROL ACTUATOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 5 bolts and exhaust pipe gas control actuator sub-assembly from the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).NOTE:
- Do not apply excessive force to the exhaust by-pass pipe when removing the exhaust pipe gas control actuator sub-assembly.
- When removing the exhaust pipe gas control actuator sub-assembly, use caution because engine coolant may spray from the exhaust heat recirculation system.
- Remove the exhaust by-pass pipe from the exhaust pipe gas control actuator sub-assembly.
- Remove the 5 bolts and exhaust pipe gas control actuator sub-assembly from the center exhaust pipe assembly (TWC: Rear Catalyst).
