Removal [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE EGR DELIVERY CHAMBER 

    Refer to REMOVAL [02/2014 - 11/2016]

  2. REMOVE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (for Bank 1) 
    1. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and camshaft position sensor from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
      NOTE:

      If the camshaft position sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.

  3. REMOVE CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR (for Bank 2) 
    1. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor connector.

    2. Remove the bolt and camshaft position sensor from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly LH.
      NOTE:

      If the camshaft position sensor has been struck or dropped, replace it.
