DTC B150A: Lost Communication with HMI-LAN [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure

1. Check if Navigation System DTCs are output:

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [02/2014 - 11/2015] .

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2015 - 11/2016] .

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   Navigation system DTCs are not output.

   Result	Proceed to
   Navigation system DTCs are not output.	A
   Navigation system DTCs are output.	B

GO TO NAVIGATION SYSTEM: 

Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [02/2014 - ]

Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the F22 combination meter assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the F117 navigation receiver connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F117-3 (CNH1) - F22-18 (MSCH)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F117-4 (CNL1) - F22-19 (MSCL)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F22-18 (MSCH) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   F22-19 (MSCL) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK 

Go to next step 

1. Replace the combination meter assembly with a new or known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [02/2014 - ] .

2. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait 30 seconds.
   NOTE:

   A maximum of 30 seconds is required to send/receive the registration information between the combination meter assembly and navigation receiver assembly.

3. Operate the steering pad switch assembly and check that the audio tab illuminates.
4. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [02/2014 - ] .

   Body Electrical > Combination Meter > Trouble Codes 

   Result	Proceed to
   The audio tab illuminates and DTC B150A is not output.	A
   The audio tab does not illuminate and DTC B150A is output.	B
