Inspection [02/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. INSPECT SEAT HEATER ASSEMBLY (REAR LH SIDE SEAT CUSHION) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Seat Heater Assembly (Rear LH Side Seat Cushion))

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F-1 - F-4 Seat heater temperature 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) 3.55 Ω
      F-1 - G-1 Seat heater temperature 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) Below 1 Ω
      F-2 - F-3 Seat heater temperature 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) 8.2 to 14.9 Ω
      F-4 - G-2 Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater assembly (rear LH side seat cushion).

  2. INSPECT SEAT HEATER ASSEMBLY (REAR RH SIDE SEAT CUSHION) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      *a Component without harness connected
      (Seat Heater Assembly (Rear RH Side Seat Cushion))

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      H-1 - H-4 Seat heater temperature 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) 3.55 Ω
      H-1 - I-1 Seat heater temperature 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) Below 1 Ω
      H-2 - H-3 Seat heater temperature 15 to 30°C (59 to 86°F) 8.2 to 14.9 Ω
      H-4 - I-2 Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, replace the seat heater assembly (rear RH side seat cushion).
