Inspection [02/2014 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT BACK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH
- Check the operation of the back door control switch.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 4 (CLS) - 1 (E) Back door control switch not pushed 10 kΩ or higher Back door control switch pushed Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the back door control switch.

(Back Door Control Switch)
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
- Check that the switch illuminates.

(Back Door Control Switch)- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the power back door control switch and check that the LED illuminates.
OK
Auxiliary Battery Connection Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 3 (ILL+)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 2 (ILL-)LED illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the back door control switch.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the power back door control switch and check that the LED illuminates.
- Check the operation of the back door control switch.
