- INSPECT FUEL LID OPENER SWITCH
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(Fuel Lid Opener Switch)Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 4 (B) - 1 (L) Pushed (ON) Below 1 Ω 4 (B) - 1 (L) Not pushed (OFF) 10 kΩ or higher If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid opener switch.
- Check that the switch illuminates.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the fuel lid opener switch and check that the switch illuminates.
OK
Auxiliary Battery Connection Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → 3 (ILL+)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → 2 (ILL-)Illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the fuel lid opener switch.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the fuel lid opener switch and check that the switch illuminates.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
