Driver Side Seat Belt Warning Light does not Operate [02/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [02/2014 - ]

   Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Clear DTCs 

2. Check for DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [02/2014 - ]

   Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Trouble Codes

GO TO AIRBAG SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [02/2014 - ]

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / SRS Airbag / Data List.
5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

   Body Electrical > SRS Airbag > Data List

REPLACE AIRBAG SENSOR ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [02/2014 - ]

1. Temporarily replace the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) with a new or known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [02/2014 - 11/2016] Refer to REMOVAL [11/2016 - ]

NEXT 

1. Check the operation of the seat belt warning light.

   Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [02/2014 - 11/2016] Refer to ON-VEHICLE INSPECTION [11/2016 - ] 

   OK

   The seat belt warning light operates normally.
