  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the F114 and F115 navigation receiver assembly connectors.
    2. Disconnect the F35 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
    3. Disconnect the G5 front No. 2 speaker assembly LH connector.
    4. Disconnect the J4 and K4 rear speaker assembly connectors.
    5. Measure the resistance between the navigation receiver assembly and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      F114-1 (FR+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher
      F114-5 (FR-) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    1. Disconnect the F35 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
    2. Disconnect the G1 front No. 2 speaker assembly RH connector.
    3. Measure the resistance between the DCM (telematics transceiver) and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.

      Standard Resistance

      F35-5 (SPO+) - Body ground Always 10 kΩ or higher

    2. Disconnect the G1 and G5 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.
    3. Measure the resistance between each of the front No. 2 speaker assemblies and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.

    1. Disconnect the F114 and F115 navigation receiver assembly connectors.
    2. Disconnect the G1 and G5 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.
    3. Disconnect the J4 and K4 rear speaker assembly connectors.
    4. Measure the resistance between the navigation receiver assembly and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.

      Standard Resistance

  11. REPLACE FRONT NO. 2 SPEAKER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Replace the front No. 2 speaker assembly with a new or known good one.

      Refer to REMOVAL [02/2014 - ]

    2. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [02/2014 - 11/2015] Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2015 - 11/2016]

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

    3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

      Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

      OK

      No DTCs are output.

      HINT: 

      • Connect all the connectors to the front No. 2 speaker assemblies that were disconnected.
      • When there is a possibility that either the right or left front No. 2 speaker assembly is defective, inspect by interchanging the right one with the left one.
      • Perform the above inspection on both the LH and RH side.

  14. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (STEREO COMPONENT AMPLIFIER ASSEMBLY - BODY GROUND) 
    1. Disconnect the F75 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the F35 DCM (telematics transceiver) connector.
    3. Disconnect the I3 front No. 1 speaker assembly LH connector.
    4. Disconnect the G3 front No. 3 speaker assembly connector.
    5. Disconnect the J4 and K4 rear speaker assembly connectors.
    6. Disconnect the X23 and X5 rear No. 3 speaker assembly connectors.
    7. Disconnect the G2 and G6 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.
    8. Disconnect the X26 rear No. 2 speaker assembly connector.
    9. Measure the resistance between the stereo component amplifier assembly and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.

      Standard Resistance

    1. Disconnect the F75 stereo component amplifier assembly connector.
    2. Disconnect the H3 and I3 front No. 1 speaker assembly connectors.
    3. Disconnect the G3 front No. 3 speaker assembly connector.
    4. Disconnect the J4 and K4 rear speaker assembly connectors.
    5. Disconnect the X23 and X5 rear No. 3 speaker assembly connectors.
    6. Disconnect the G2 and G6 front No. 2 speaker assembly connectors.
    7. Disconnect the X26 rear No. 2 speaker assembly connector.
    8. Measure the resistance between the stereo component amplifier assembly and body ground to check for a short circuit in the wire harness.

      Standard Resistance
