DTC B158C: SD Card Communication Malfunction [02/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Turn the power switch off and remove the SD card (disc player disc) from the SD card (disc player disc) slot.
2. Check that the SD card (disc player disc) is not damaged.

   Result

REPLACE SD CARD (DISC PLAYER DISC)

1. Check that the terminals of the SD card (disc player disc) are free of foreign matter. Remove foreign matter as necessary.
2. Check that the SD card (disc player disc) slot of the navigation receiver assembly is free of foreign matter. Remove foreign matter as necessary.
3. Insert the SD card (disc player disc) into the SD card (disc player disc) slot.

NEXT 

1. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [02/2014 - 11/2015] Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2015 - 11/2016] Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2016 - ]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

2. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

1. Replace the SD card (disc player disc) with a new or known good one.
2. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [02/2014 - 11/2015] Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2015 - 11/2016] Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2016 - ]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result
