DTC B1324: Lost Communication with Meter [11/2016 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the F117 navigation receiver assembly connector.
2. Disconnect the F124 combination meter assembly connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F117-3 (CNH1) - F124-29 (MSCH)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F117-4 (CNL1) - F124-30 (MSCL)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   F117-3 (CNH1) or F124-29 (MSCH) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   F117-4 (CNL1) or F124-30 (MSCL) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   F117-3 (CNH1) - F117-4 (CNL1)	Always	10 kΩ or higher

4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Voltage

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   F117-3 (CNH1) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 V
   F117-4 (CNL1) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 V

   Result

   Proceed to
   OK
   NG

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

1. Remove the combination meter assembly.

   Refer to REMOVAL [02/2014 - ]

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

1. Remove the navigation receiver assembly.

   Refer to REMOVAL [02/2014 - ]

2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   3 (CNH1) - 4 (CNL1)	Always	108 to 132 Ω

REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [02/2014 - ]

1. Replace the combination meter assembly with a new or known good one.

   Refer to REMOVAL [02/2014 - ]

2. Clear the DTCs.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [11/2016 - ]

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Clear DTCs 

3. Recheck for DTCs and check that no DTCs are output.

   Body Electrical > Navigation System > Trouble Codes 

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

   Result

REPLACE NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY. Refer to  REMOVAL [02/2014 - ]

1. Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait 30 seconds.
2. Operate the steering pad switch assembly and check that the audio tab is displayed on the multi-information display in the combination meter assembly and the audio system can be operated normally.

   OK

   Audio system returns to normal.
