How To Proceed With Troubleshooting [02/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. VEHICLE BROUGHT TO WORKSHOP 

    NEXT 

  2. CUSTOMER PROBLEM ANALYSIS AND SYMPTOM CHECK 

    NEXT 

  3. INSPECT AUXILIARY BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.

      Standard Voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery before proceeding to the next step.

    NEXT 

  4. INSPECT CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM* 
    1. Using the Techstream, check if the CAN communication system is functioning normally.

      Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [02/2014 - 11/2016] Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [11/2016 - ]

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      CAN communication system DTCs are not output A
      CAN communication system DTCs are output B

    Result:  2

    GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [02/2014 - 11/2016]  Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [11/2016 - ]
