Door Mirror Foot Light Circuit [02/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Mirror L or Mirror R / Active Test.
5. Check that the door mirror foot lights illuminate.

1. Remove the outer rear view mirror assembly LH.

2. Connect a positive (+) lead from the auxiliary battery to terminal 2 (MLP+) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 12 (-).

3. Check that the door mirror foot light LH illuminates.

   OK

   Door mirror foot light illuminates.

REPLACE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH. Refer to  REMOVAL [02/2014 - 11/2015]  Refer to  REMOVAL [11/2015 - ] 

1. Remove the outer rear view mirror assembly RH.

2. Connect a positive (+) lead from the auxiliary battery to terminal 2 (MLP+) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 12 (-).
