Inspection [02/2014 - ]: Procedure
- INSPECT AUTO HIGH BEAM SWITCH
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(Auto High Beam Switch)Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition 4 (+B) - 1 (E) Auto high beam switch off 10 kΩ or higher Auto high beam switch on Below 1 Ω If the result is not as specified, replace the auto high beam switch.
- Illumination Inspection
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the auto high beam switch and check that the switch illuminates.
OK
Condition Specified Condition Auxiliary battery positive (+) → Terminal 3 (ILL+)
Auxiliary battery negative (-) → Terminal 2 (ILL-)Illuminates If the result is not as specified, replace the auto high beam switch.
- Apply auxiliary battery voltage to the auto high beam switch and check that the switch illuminates.
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
