Diagnosis System [02/2014 - 11/2016]

Automatic high beam system data and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be read from the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the Techstream to check for malfunctions and to repair it.

Check the DLC3.

Measure the auxiliary battery voltage with the power switch off.

Standard Voltage

11 to 14 V

If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the auxiliary battery.

If the automatic high beam system malfunctions, the automatic high beam indicator light turns off and "CHECK HEADLIGHT SYSTEM"*1 or "Check Headlight System"*2 is displayed on the multi-information display.

• *1: Multi-information Display (for Monochrome Type)
• *2: Multi-information Display (for Color Type)

HINT: 

• In this case, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) stores DTCs.

  Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [02/2014 - ] 

• When the system returns to normal, "CHECK HEADLIGHT SYSTEM"*1 or "Check Headlight System"*2 is no longer displayed on the multi-information display.

• *2: Multi-information Display (for Color Type)
