DTC C1AAA: FCM Destination Information Uninitialized [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure

  1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (DESTINATION INFORMATION) 
    1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
    2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
    3. Turn the Techstream on.
    4. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Lane Departure Alert / Data List.
    5. Read the Data List according to the display on the Techstream.

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Data List 

      Tester Display Measurement Item Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note
      Destination Information Status of the country JPN, NA, EURO, CHINA or OTHER Actual country code -

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Data List

      Result

      Result Proceed to
      Country specification information for vehicle and lane departure warning camera match A
      Country specification information for vehicle and lane departure warning camera do not match B

    Result:  2

    REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [02/2014 - 11/2016] 

    Result:  1

  2. CHECK FOR DTCs (LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM) 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [02/2014 - 11/2016]

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Clear DTCs 

    2. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      HINT: 

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

    3. Check for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [02/2014 - 11/2016]

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Trouble Codes 

      Result

      DTC C1AAA is not output A
      DTC C1AAA is output B

    Result:  1

    USE SIMULATION METHOD TO CHECK. Refer to  HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [02/2014 - 11/2016]

  3. REPLACE LANE DEPARTURE WARNING CAMERA 
    1. Replace the lane departure warning camera with a new one.

      Refer to REMOVAL [02/2014 - 11/2016]

    2. Perform the lane departure warning camera adjustment.

      Refer to ADJUSTMENT [02/2014 - 11/2016]

    NEXT 

  4. CHECK FOR DTCs (LANE DEPARTURE ALERT SYSTEM) 
    1. Clear the DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [02/2014 - 11/2016]

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Clear DTCs 

    2. Make sure that the DTC detection conditions are met.

      HINT: 

      If the detection conditions are not met, the system cannot detect the malfunction.

    3. Check for DTCs.

      Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [02/2014 - 11/2016]

      Chassis > Lane Departure Alert > Trouble Codes

    END (LANE DEPARTURE WARNING CAMERA WAS DEFECTIVE)

    REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to  REMOVAL [02/2014 - 11/2016]
