DTC U0200: Lost Communication with "Door Control Module B" [02/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. RECONFIRM DTC OUTPUT 

    Body Electrical > Main Body > Trouble Codes 

    1. Reconfirm DTCs.

      HINT: 

      If DTC U1002 is output from Main Body of the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU), this indicates a sub bus 1 malfunction. Troubleshoot for DTC U1002 and check for malfunctions in sub bus 1.

      DTC U1002 is not output from main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) (Techstream display: Main Body) A
      DTC U1002 is output from main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) (Techstream display: Main Body) B

    Result: 

    GO TO DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE INDICATED BY OUTPUT DTC. Refer to  DTC U1002: Lost Communication with Gateway Module (Main Body ECU) [02/2014 - 11/2016]   or  DTC U1002: Lost Communication with Gateway Module (Main Body ECU) [11/2016 - ]  

    Result:

  2. CHECK FOR OPEN IN SUB BUS 1 LINES (OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (FOR DRIVER SIDE) BRANCH LINE) 
    1. Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    2. Disconnect the I2 outer mirror control ECU assembly (for driver side) connector.
    3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I2-9 (CANP) - I2-8 (CANN) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINE OR CONNECTOR (OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (FOR DRIVER SIDE)) 

    Result: 

    OK

  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT) 
    1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      (to Outer Mirror Control ECU Assembly (for Driver Side))

      Standard Resistance

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I2-7 (GND) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω
    2. Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
    3. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

      (to Outer Mirror Control ECU Assembly (for Driver Side))

      Standard Voltage

      Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition
      I2-5 (SIG) - Body ground Power switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      I2-6 (CPUB) - Body ground Power switch off 11 to 14 V

    Result: 

    OK 

    REPLACE OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY (FOR DRIVER SIDE). Refer to  REMOVAL [02/2014 - ] 

    Result: 

    NG 

    REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT)
