Yaw Rate Sensor Communication Stop Mode [02/2014 - 11/2016]: Procedure
- CHECK FOR OPEN IN CAN BUS LINES (YAW RATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY BRANCH LINE)
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Disconnect the F78 yaw rate sensor assembly connector.

(to Yaw Rate Sensor Assembly) - Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance
Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F78-3 (CANH) - F78-2 (CANL) Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal 54 to 69 Ω

REPAIR OR REPLACE CAN BRANCH LINE OR CONNECTOR (YAW RATE SENSOR ASSEMBLY)

OK

- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition F78-1 (GND) - Body ground Cable disconnected from negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal Below 1 Ω - Reconnect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
