REMOVE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL RING GEAR

Put matchmarks on the front differential ring gear and front differential case.

Matchmark

Using SST and a hammer, release the 4 front differential ring gear set bolt lock plates.

SST: 09930-00010

Remove the 8 bolts and 4 front differential ring gear set bolt lock plates from the front differential case.

Using a plastic hammer, remove the front differential ring gear from the front differential case.

REMOVE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL PINION SHAFT STRAIGHT PIN

Using a punch and a hammer, release the staked part of the front differential case.

Using a 5 mm pin punch and a hammer, remove the front differential pinion shaft straight pin from the front differential case.

REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 DIFFERENTIAL PINION SHAFT

Remove the front No. 1 differential pinion shaft from the front differential case.

REMOVE FRONT DIFFERENTIAL SIDE GEAR

Remove the 2 front differential pinions, 2 front differential pinion thrust washers, 2 front differential side gears and 2 front differential side gear thrust washers from the front differential case.
