DTC P0013: Camshaft Position "B" Actuator Circuit / Open (Bank 1) [08/2013 - 08/2016]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the ignition switch to ON.
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Clear the DTC after recording the freeze frame data and DTC.

   Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ]

   Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Clear DTCs 

5. Turn the ignition switch off and wait for at least 30 seconds.
6. Turn the ignition switch to ON and wait 5 seconds.
7. Turn the Techstream on.
8. Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.
9. Read the DTCs.

   Powertrain > Engine and ECT > Trouble Codes 

   Result

   DTC P0013 is output	A
   DTCs are not output	B

1. Inspect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly (for exhaust camshaft).

   Refer to INSPECTION [08/2013 - ]

REPLACE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL VALVE ASSEMBLY (FOR EXHAUST CAMSHAFT). Refer to  REMOVAL [08/2013 - ]

1. Disconnect the camshaft timing oil control valve assembly (for exhaust camshaft) connector.
2. Disconnect the ECM connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   B22-1 - B33-65 (OE1+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   B22-2 - B33-64 (OE1-)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   B22-1 or B33-65 (OE1+) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   B22-2 or B33-64 (OE1-) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
