Removal [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 2 CYLINDER HEAD COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11 Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 11

  2. REMOVE PURGE VALVE (PURGE VSV) 
    1. Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 1 fuel vapor feed hose from the purge valve (purge VSV).

      *1 No. 1 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *2 No. 2 Fuel Vapor Feed Hose
      *3 Purge valve (Purge VSV)
    2. Disconnect the No. 2 fuel vapor feed hose from the purge valve (purge VSV).
    3. Disconnect the purge valve (purge VSV) connector.
    4. Disengage the wire harness clamp from the purge valve (purge VSV).
    5. Remove the bolt and disengage the wire harness from the purge valve (purge VSV).

    6. Remove the bolt and purge valve (purge VSV) from the cylinder head cover sub-assembly.
