Removal [04/2014 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - 08/2016] Refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - ]

  2. REMOVE NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 8

  3. REMOVE LOWER NO. 1 INSTRUMENT PANEL AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (w/ Driver Side Knee Airbag) 

    Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - 08/2016] Refer to REMOVAL [08/2016 - ]

  4. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  5. REMOVE STOP LIGHT SWITCH MOUNTING ADJUSTER 
  6. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL RETURN SPRING 
    1. Remove the brake pedal return spring from the brake pedal support assembly and push rod pin.

  7. REMOVE PUSH ROD PIN 
    1. Remove the clip and push rod pin.

  8. REMOVE BRAKE PEDAL SUPPORT ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the bolt and separate the brake pedal support assembly from the instrument panel reinforcement assembly.

    2. Disengage the 2 clamps and separate the wire harness from the brake pedal support assembly.

    3. Remove the 4 nuts and brake pedal support assembly.

    4. Remove the nut from the brake pedal support assembly.
