Diagnosis System [08/2015 - ]

  1. DESCRIPTION 
    1. Lighting system data and Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) can be read from the Data Link Connector 3 (DLC3) of the vehicle. When the system seems to be malfunctioning, use the Techstream to check for malfunctions and perform repairs.
  2. CHECK DLC3 
    1. Check the DLC3. Refer to GENERAL INFORMATION [08/2015 - ] .
  3. INSPECT BATTERY VOLTAGE 
    1. Measure the battery voltage.

      Standard Voltage

      11 to 14 V

      If the voltage is below 11 V, recharge or replace the battery.

  4. DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM 
    1. If a headlight assembly (for LED Headlight) malfunctions, "Check Headlight System" is displayed on the multi-information display.

      HINT: 

      • In this case, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) stores DTCs. Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART [08/2015 - ] .
      • When the system returns to normal, "Check Headlight System" is no longer displayed on the multi-information display.
