DTC B2793: Transponder Chip Malfunction; DTC B2794: Unmatched Encryption Code; DTC B2797: Communication Malfunction No. 1; DTC B2798: Communication Malfunction No. 2 [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - ] .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Perform "DTC Output Confirmation Operation" procedure.
2. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - ] .

   HINT: 

   If DTC B2793, B2794, B2797, or B2798 is stored, clear the DTCs before checking the next door control transmitter assembly.

   OK

   DTC B2793, B2974, B2797 and B2798 are not output.

   Result

B → REPLACE DOOR CONTROL TRANSMITTER ASSEMBLY THAT DTC IS OUTPUT

1. Check that the connector is properly connected to the transponder key coil.
2. Check that the engine starts with the door control transmitter assembly.

   OK

   Engine starts normally.

NG → See step   4 

OK → END (CONNECTOR WAS NOT CONNECTED PROPERLY) 

1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2015 - ] .
2. Replace the transponder key coil. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2015 - ] .
3. Check that the engine starts with the door control transmitter assembly. Refer to OPERATION CHECK [08/2015 - ] .

   OK

   Engine starts normally.

NG → See step   6 

OK → END (TRANSPONDER KEY COIL WAS DEFECTIVE)
