DTC C2179/79: Tire Pressure Monitor ECU Communication Stop [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Disconnect the J26 tire pressure warning ECU and receiver connector.
2. Disconnect the D6 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   J26-5 (PRG) - D6-4 (PRG)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   J26-5 (PRG) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   D6-4 (PRG) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Result: 

NG 

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

Result: 

OK

1. Replace the tire pressure warning ECU and receiver (Refer to INSPECTION [10/2014 - ] ).

Result: 

NEXT

1. Clear the DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ] ).
2. Turn the engine switch off.
3. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
4. Check for DTCs (Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [10/2014 - ] ).

   OK

   DTC C2179/79 is not output.
