Terminals Of Ecu [10/2014 - ]

  1. CHECK REAR SUNSHADE RELAY 
    1. Disconnect the J19 rear sunshade relay connector.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J19-1 (IG) - J19-5 (E) LG - W-B IG power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      J19-1 (IG) - J19-5 (E) LG - W-B IG power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      J19-5 (E) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the J19 rear sunshade relay connector.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      J19-2 (REV) - J19-5 (E) BR - W-B Reverse signal Engine switch on (IG), shift lever in any position other than R 11 to 14 V
      J19-2 (REV) - J19-5 (E) BR - W-B Reverse signal Engine switch on (IG), shift lever in R Below 1 V
      J19-3 (SW) - J19-5 (E) P - W-B Curtain switch assembly signal Engine switch on (IG), curtain switch assembly not pushed 11 to 14 V
      J19-3 (SW) - J19-5 (E) P - W-B Curtain switch assembly signal Engine switch on (IG), curtain switch assembly pushed Below 1.5 V

      If the result is not as specified, the rear sunshade relay may be malfunctioning.

  2. CHECK INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY AND MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU) 
    1. Disconnect the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connectors.

    2. Measure the voltage and resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

      HINT: 

      Measure the values on the wire harness side with the connector disconnected.

      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      MB-11 (GND1) - Body ground - Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      D5-3 (GND2) - Body ground W-B - Body ground Ground Always Below 1 Ω
      MB-30 (BECU) - Body ground - Battery power supply Always 11 to 14 V
      MB-29 (ACC) - Body ground - ACC power supply Engine switch on (ACC) 11 to 14 V
      MB-29 (ACC) - Body ground - ACC power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V
      MB-32 (IG) - Body ground - IG power supply Engine switch on (IG) 11 to 14 V
      MB-32 (IG) - Body ground - IG power supply Engine switch off Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the wire harness.

    3. Reconnect the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connectors.
    4. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
      Tester Connection Wiring Color Terminal Description Condition Specified Condition
      3B-38 (REV) - Body ground BR - Body ground Reverse signal Engine switch on (IG), shift lever in any position other than R 11 to 14 V
      3B-38 (REV) - Body ground BR - Body ground Reverse signal Engine switch on (IG), shift lever in R Below 1 V

      If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) or instrument panel junction block assembly may be malfunctioning.
