Door Mirror Foot Light Circuit [10/2014 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the engine switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Mirror L or Mirror R / Active Test.
5. Check that the door mirror foot lights operate.

1. Remove the outer rear view mirror assembly LH (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] ).

2. Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 12 (MLP) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 5 (-).
3. Check that the outer mirror foot light comes on.

   OK

   Door mirror foot light comes on.

REPLACE OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY LH

1. Disconnect the G11 outer mirror control ECU assembly LH connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   G11-2 (LP) - G9-12 (MLP)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   G11-2 (LP) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher
   G11-12 (HTR-) - G9-5 (-)	Always	Below 1 Ω

REPLACE OUTER MIRROR CONTROL ECU ASSEMBLY LH

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

1. Remove the outer rear view mirror assembly RH (Refer to REMOVAL [10/2014 - ] ).

2. Connect a positive (+) lead from the battery to terminal 12 (MLP) and a negative (-) lead to terminal 5 (-).
3. Check that the outer mirror foot light comes on.

   OK
